Hello, I am a writer with a heart to empower teen girls and young women to be strong followers of Jesus, ready to face the challenges of this world. Through fun an innovative fiction, I hope to encourage readers to grow in God at any stage of their faith journey. I write YA Christian fiction and have published inspirational stories in several anthologies. The last couple years, I've been honored to win writing contests with Guideposts, Christian Writers for Life, and the American Christian Fiction Writers Association (ACFW).
​My first YA Mystery/Suspense in the Ella Strawberry series is now in the publishing process, and I can't wait to get it out there! I'm so excited about where Ella's adventures will take us. I'm sure teen girls everywhere will love this cast, including some unusual characters, such as Ella's talking pet parrot named Piper.
I was born and raised in Southern California, and later moved to the Midwest with my family. My husband and I have served in pastoral and youth ministries for more than thirty years. Some of my hobbies include long walks in nature, camping in our RV, attempting to grow vegetables, and of course writing fun stories.
